Who is Lucas Mazei?

Engineering Manager at V4 Company, Brazil's largest digital marketing advisory. 30+ engineers across Finance, CRM & RevOps. Five years at V4. Came in as a Data Analyst, moved through Head of Technology at one of our franchise units, then Tech Lead, then Group PM. Running engineering since January 2026. My job is to be replaceable. The teams should keep running whether I'm in the room or not. That's the job.

What does Lucas Mazei do?

  1. Jan 2026 — present

    Engineering Manager

    V4 Company · Campinas, SP

    • Lead engineering across Finance, CRM, RevOps and Post-Sales. 30+ engineers, four squads, and a portfolio of internal and customer-facing systems.
    • Most of what I do is architecture and people. Keep the ecosystem coherent as teams grow and products multiply. Hire and develop leaders. Decide what to build in-house, what to integrate and what to kill.
    • Finance: payment and split engine. BRL 20M+ in monthly transaction volume. Runs all of V4's commercial cash flow.
    • CRM: replaced Salesforce in 60 days without missing a sales target. Owns the full funnel across V4's franchise network, holds the contracts, integrates with Finance.
    • Brokers: lead auction system. Every media channel V4 runs pushes leads here for distribution across the network.
    • V4mos: our end-customer SaaS, sold direct (not channeled through the franchise network). Connects CRM, media and ops data, then runs diagnosis, planning and analysis on top of Theory of Constraints.
    • Workforce: people-ops platform. Integrates Google Workspace, handles contracts, runs HR processes.
    • Plus active initiatives across Wallet, Identity and supporting platforms.
  2. Aug 2025 — Jan 2026

    Group Product Manager

    V4 Company · Campinas, SP

    • Led the CRM replacement project. V4 switched off Salesforce to a system built in-house. Owned it end-to-end: scope, architecture, integrations, and rollout across 160+ franchises.
    • Sales couldn't stop. The team had goals through the entire 60-day build. We shipped without missing a target.
    • It wasn't just a CRM. Finance and Brokers had to integrate cleanly or the rest of the company would break. I drew the architecture for how the three systems would talk while writing the code, because of the timing.
    • Ran GTM across V4's 160+ franchise network. Handed off the product line to the next Group PM before moving into full engineering leadership.
  3. Jan 2025 — Aug 2025

    Tech Lead

    V4 Company · Campinas, SP

    • Moved from running technology at a Colli&Co. franchise unit to V4 corporate. Took the Tech Lead seat across Workforce and HOps (V4's customer-management platform), then rotated into CRM.
    • The CRM rotation is what made the next eight months matter. I did the early architecture and scoping for the Salesforce replacement that I'd later own as Group PM.
  4. Mar 2023 — Jan 2025

    Diretor de Tecnologia

    V4 Company — Colli&Co. · Sinop, MT

    • Ran the technology org at Colli&Co., a V4 franchise unit. Around 15 people across Data, Product, and CRM Implementation teams.
    • By the time I moved to HQ in 2025, the unit had grown from BRL 200K MRR (when I joined in 2020) to BRL 2M+ MRR. I ran tech and data through that growth: reports for the management committee, forecasting for board-level decisions, and the internal products the unit ran on.
    • Mindforge: education platform for the Colli&Co. unit. Still in use today.
    • FWO: management and operations system. 0→1 build, since retired.
    • Brought Scrum to the Product team. Built the data layer behind the marketing and sales reporting Colli&Co. delivered to clients.
  5. Apr 2021 — Mar 2023

    Head of Technology

    V4 Company — Colli&Co. · Sinop, MT

    • Promoted from Data Analyst to Head of Technology after five months at the unit. Ran the data team.
    • Internal analytics the unit's management ran on: churn, ICP, forecasting, new customers, customer experience.
    • Client-delivery PowerBI reports: what the franchise sold its marketing customers as part of the service.
    • Full-stack internal tools for process automation and education.
  6. Nov 2020 — Apr 2021

    Data Analyst

    V4 Company — Colli&Co. · Sinop, MT

    • First role at V4. Built PowerBI reports for clients and ran Python ETLs on GCP (Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run). Presented analysis directly to customers.
    • Promoted to Head of Technology after five months.
  7. Jul 2018 — Nov 2020

    Software Engineer

    Smart Agri · Sinop, MT

    • First full-time engineering role. Built Computer Vision and Machine Learning systems for an agri-tech startup. Shipped production Computer Vision pipelines on AWS.
    • Stack: OpenCV, PyTorch, Flask/FastAPI, AWS (Lambda, EC2/ECS/ECR, S3, RDS), Pandas/Numpy.
